an f/a-18c hornet breaks the sound barrier, only get a second to try and get it. so far 1 for 1. i love the cloud it makes when it does that.

Sonic by *Lesabre1974 Ya' know ... as much as I love movies with subtitles and sad endings ... I also like the occassional Bruckheimer movie too ... Why? Because I sometimes really enjoy action flicks. This reminds me of an action flick ... and it's a still. (Suggested by =candear and Featured by `cweeks)

this should help you understand because i can't explain it all to well
Despite its name, the sonic boom cloud doesn't always come with a sonic boom, and it's not a shock wave of the sound barrier being broken. The clouds only occur in unique weather conditions, when aircraft fly fast enough to cool the air around them, causing moisture in the air to condense into clouds. These halos of vapor appear for only a few seconds when aircraft reach speeds just below or just above the speed of sound (741 miles an hour/1,193 kilometers an hour).

Wow I am surprised you got it just when it was breaking the sound barrier. the only onther time ive seen someone successfully take this was in popular science.
